Motherboard tezave (Epox FF post error code)

He had the same problem as I did. When you turn on the PC, normally the boot codes start at 00 and go up to FF (ex 00, 01, 02 etc..). However, in this case this is NOT what happens. There is FF immediately from the begining, no BOOT screen, nothing. There are 3 types of FF. Normally working Fully Functioning ff, and 2 where there is problem:
TypeA:
Unplug the motherboard from PS connector, pull out CMOS jumper, and turn off powersupply in the back, and let it rest for 5 min, put jumper back, turn computer on, and immediately after it goes on hold down INS. If you get into BIOS you’re home free… if you still get the problem press reset while still holding INS key. I had to try this 4 times (the whole process) for it to work. Can’t explain exactly why this is. Seems there might be some charge left in capacitors… retained in either the PS or motherboard… but I found this worked.
TypeB:
However, if there is no sound of drives spinning up or monitor never seems to be returned from standby, or no response in keyboard lights for ScrollLock/NumLock/CapLock, then you are truely screwed. Try a different power supply, make sure everything is properly connected. Take appart everything, and rebuild it on plastic grocery bag (remember to ground yourself before touching anything). Plug in only Power Supply, CPU, mem, and pci video card to your motherboard (no floppy, CD, DVD, HDD, AGP, sound, extreneous fans, network etc). If you still can’t get any POST, then your motherboard is official DEAD. My heart goes out to you.

Simiar to the tips here but our standard tip list.
If you are having trouble booting the system and getting a screen try the following multi-step procedure. Power off your system first before completing any of the following tips.
1) Check CMOS clear jumper JP1 (JBAT1 on some systems). Set for CLEAR for 5 seconds, then move back.
2) Check CPU host clock jumpers (if any) are properly set. Note: does not control memory bus.
3) Check your power supply. Should be 110/115v for North America.
4) Unplug all data cables for IDE and FDD from the motherboard.
5) Unplug all power supply cables attaching to your IDE and FDD drives.
6) Remove all cards and devices EXCEPT for video, RAM, CPU, CPU heatsink/FAN.
7) Move memory into a different bank, if available.
8)Unplug the CPU and reattach.
9) Ensure your CPU heatsink/FAN is attached properly to the CPU.
10) If you use a variable RPM fan ensure its set for full speed.
11) Retest.
12) If 1-11 do not help power off and test the motherboard outside the computer case to eliminate a case/motherboard power short.
13) Retest. If the board now works check for case problems. If the system still is not working continue…
14) You may have a possible hardware problem. Any device in the system may be a possible culprit. Use process of elimination to determine the cause. Swap out as many components as possible starting with RAM, CPU, POWER SUPPLY, VIDEO CARD (if present) and/or MOTHERBOARD.

Sestavine
- 20 dag masla
- 10 dag belega sladkorja
- 10 dag rjavega sladkorja
- 2 jajci
- 1 vanilin sladkor
- 1 pecilni prašek
- 30 dag moke
- 30 dag čokolade (lahko 1/2 mlečne in 1/2 jedilne)
Pečico segrejemo na 180°C. Zmešamo maslo, beli sladkor, rjavi
sladkor, dodamo jajca, vanilin sladkor in mleko.
V posebni posodi zmešamo: moko,
pecilni in na košče narezano čokolado.
Vse skupaj mešamo tako dolgo, dokler ne
dobimo suhe, goste mase ki mora biti zelo trda.
Z žlico damo na pekač (pekač naj bo
namazan z maslom ali pa imamo papir za
peko) majhne “kepice” mase in pečemo
približno 8 – 10 min.
